TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

Oil-immersed distribution transformation up to 36 kV.

The current LMZ site presents oil-type distribution transformers in hermetically sealed and conservator-tank configurations, with project-dependent ratios and indoor or outdoor application.

PRODUCT SCOPE

Two principal oil-type construction methods.

Hermetically Sealed Type

Oil is filled under vacuum and isolated from the atmosphere; thermal oil-pressure changes are accommodated by the corrugated tank walls.

Conservator Type

A conservator tank accommodates oil-volume changes and uses silica gel for air dehumidification.

Tap Changing

Idle tap changer or automatic on-load tap changer options are presented on the current LMZ page.

Installation

Distribution transformers can be configured for indoor or outdoor use according to the project.

TRANSFORMER SELECTION

Transformer selection is defined by network duty, environment and project interfaces.

LMZ evaluates voltage level, power, cooling, installation conditions and operating duty before defining the appropriate transformer type and configuration.
